PROJECT BRIEF
This project included a new traditional-style fitted kitchen installation into a residential extension to an old farmhouse with a new master en-suite installation also included.
The kitchen and bathroom were part of a large farmhouse refurbishment project, rejigging the layout of ground floor of house transforming a dining room with a very low ceiling clad with wood in a Scandinavian style , which looked out onto a courtyard.
A bespoke large lantern light was manufactured by Springburn Joinery to mirror the exact size of the kitchen island giving the low ceiling room a sense of height and floods the room with light.
A fitted Mackintosh kitchen accommodated the client's existing AGA oven, while the kitchen also featured a large double door pantry unit, bespoke co-ordinated shelf unit with bespoke fridge freezer housing and wine rack.

The kitchen worksurface included a dual-aspect finish with Silestone solid worktop twinned with a solid wood worktop on the island, which also incorporated a large 90cm Fisher & Paykel DishDrawer.

For the Master En-suite, we wanted to keep with the traditional theme throughout the house. The new master bedroom suite with bathroom was a new addition to the farmhouse within a new extension.
The extension featured a beautiful vaulted ceiling which gave a dramatic look in the new bathroom which featured traditional-style Hansgrohe fitments, a free-standing Waters bath, gold detail mosaics and a Impey wet area walk-in shower to optimise easy cleaning.
